One of the drawbacks to our new home was all the many flowering trees and shubs we left behind. Last year for Mother's Day, Chet bought me this Weeping Redbud Tree. The Redbud has always been one of my favorite trees, but usually you only get to see a haze of purple for a short period. This tree has looked like this for 2 weeks. This year he planted a crabapple. Soon, we will have as beautiful a spring yard as we did in our last house

I always feel lucky to live in the midwest when we have spring blossoming trees like we have had this year. Its been just gorgeous.
