Oh What a Beautiful Morning!
When I leave for work in the morning I am greeted by some of the most beautiful skies. The fall is the best - I get to see some great sunrises. This is just the beginning - I will try to keep the camera in the car so I can post pictures throughout the fall. It's a wonderful way to start my work day!

Poor Poor Pitiful Me
It is an absoulute gorgeous day outside today - a great day to be outdoors. Our company is hosting it's annual golf outing to benefit Easter Seals and I was supposed to there handing out tequila shots and cigars on one of the holes. Because of a staffing problem, I have to stay here to answer the phone instead. Don't you feel sorry for me? I'm even missing a steak dinner. I hear you Mom - I'll offer it up!

Just 'A' Swinging
Some people (like Jim and Mary), need to get away to relax. When I travel, I go to do things or see people. When I get home, I may be refreshed, but am often more tired than when I left. If I want to just chill out and relax, for me there's no place like home. A cup of coffee and the paper in the morning, or a glass of wine and a good book in the evening on my front porch swing is about as close to heaven as I can get. I can sit there and shuck corn or snap beans and talk with the kids. Friends or family can come over to just sit and enjoy the sounds of the crickets. Sometimes it makes me feel transported back to another century.

First of Three
Matt and Michelle - lifelong friends of Carls' - got married Saturday. All the groomsmen were friends from High School. I'm still trying to figure out how to take pictures indoors with this camera, so the picture isn't very good, but I thought you might like to see it anyway. Maybe by the next wedding (Katie's) I'll have it figured out.
Bub's helper
Bubba came to finish our roof Saturday and brought his helper, Clayton. If any of you remember, about 5 years ago I requested that you keep a young man w/cancer in your prayers. As you can see, your prayers worked, because this is that same young man working on roofs with his Dad and getting ready for 4th grade.
