The right photo looks like mom & dad's old house in St. Pete Beach. My last memory of that house is not real pleasant as I was the one who went down and wound up flying them back to Cincinnati. Mom died about a week later. Mike later went down to close up the house when the house sold.
Yes - that is the back of the house and the orange tree is still there, as are the winches to pick up a boat. The house looks like it had recently painted - but the yard was a mess. No grass to speak of. The neighborhood was pretty much the same.
Abraham Lincoln said "Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." I've made up my mind to be happy. My husband and I live on 15 acres in NE Ohio and while not perfect, life has been pretty good to us.

I had heard that it couldn't be found anymore. Good search Gini.
Isn't the left photo the back of the St. Pete Beach house?

Great job Gini. Like I said, when we looked we did not have the address. I am glad that it is still there.
What were the new owners like?
That is really cool - I do remember it looking a little nicer. I have great memories of those 2 summers there.
